xela, guatemala.

no idea? they were everywhere in the street...

women carried this huge nativity scene down the road for as far as the eye could see. sweat beaded down their faces as men in black robes watched from the sidelines. they were followed by a marching band playing songs which belonged at a funeral.

memorial in the middle of the park.

we went to a museum in Xela, Guatemala and paid 3 dollars to see some history of the town. some important documents, typewriter, a two headed goat, a baby fetus, and a brain... money well spent.
